Director - Head of Façade Engineering, BB7
Naoki heads up the façade engineering capability and is part of the senior leadership team at BB7. He comes from a multi-disciplinary background, having led and developed the façade and façade access discipline at a leading multinational consultancy.
He has extensive UK and international project experience across both existing assets and newbuild projects, and is a firm believer that ‘every building has the right to be heard’.
Being a strong advocate for circular principals – including re-use rather than recycling of existing materials, he strives to push ‘existing assets’ to the fore of BB7s consultancy portfolio.
Having worked in façade supply chain, for a main contractor and in consultancy roles this unique perspective gives him an excellent appreciation of the challenges in façade design, procurement, manufacture, and delivery.
He takes an active role in the industry, undertaking Expert Witness commissions and is involved in a number of working groups including the Build Safety Act (internal group) and the JCI (Joint Competence Initiative) advisory team.
