Senior Principal, Gansam Architects & Partners
Dong Hee Oh is senior principal of gansam architects and partners, a design and strategic consulting firm based in Seoul, Korea, also representing CEO of gansam holding company. He leads the design practice and marketing on a broad range of projects, such as mixed use development, high rise office tower, campus masterplan, remodeling, hospitality including urban renewal.
Dong Hee Oh has served in numerous leadership roles as member of AIK(Architects Institute of Korea), KIRA(Korea Registered Architects Association), KIA(Korea Institute of Architects), also executing as commissary general of UIA 2017 Seoul 3Architects Congress Organizing Committee, chairperson of international relations committee in KIRA and public architect in Seoul metropolitan city.
As an adjunct professor he has taught many years for several design studio, such as college of social science in Yonsei university, Seoul national university of science and technology, Sungkyunkwan university, Korea university, Seoul national university, Dankook university and Dongguk university.
His representative works are ‘Centropolis’ office tower in Seoul(26 floors), Remodeling for Gimpo Airport, Headquarter building for Posco China in Beijing(38 floors), Purme Nexon children’s rehabilitation hospital in Seoul, Headquarter building for Posco ENC in Songdo(38 floors), Alpensia resort village for Pyung Chang Winter Olympic in 2018, Doosan We’ve the Zenith in Busan(80 floors) and so on.
