With a background in Mathematics (Bacc-II), Architecture (BSc), Computation (MSc), Engineering (MSc) and Design Communication (ongoing PhD), Abdulmajid Karanouh has developed over the years from a passionate specialist in complex geometry into an inter-disciplinary design lead in high-tech architecture. From the world’s first twisted tower to the longest metro line, his journey includes many record-breaking and award-winning projects involving high-profile organisations and clients mainly in Europe and the Middle East. His career highlight to date has been authoring the Al-Bahr Towers–winner of Best Innovation Award 2012 offered by the Council for Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat–when working with Aedas Architects in London–spearheading the design team to project completion in 2013.
