Executive Director, Inhabit Group
Robert Stephens is the Executive Director for Inhabit and is responsible for group operations in the Middle East and Europe. He has over 20 years of façade construction experience in Europe, the Middle East and Far East. For the last 15 years he has been heading up specialist façade teams servicing projects in the Middle East and U.K.
He has a broad experience in the field, working with both concrete and steel construction. Robert has worked on a wide variety of projects from large scale multiple plot retail projects to singular mega high rise projects.
He is currently involved with Expo 2020 projects, (UAE Pavilion, Sustainability pavilion), One Zabeel (ICD / Ithra), the Lighthouse (Meraas), Meydan one development, the Address Harbour Point (Emaar)
Robert has developed particular expertise with regards to the design and construction of lightweight steel façade structures and warped geometries. He has had articles published in the Steel Construction Institute and the Institute of Structural Engineers U.K. on sustainable design. He has also presented at technical conferences around the world.
