President & COO, Novum International
Alan Bridger is President + COO of Novum International with full commercial responsibility for Novum entities in the UK, Germany, Turkey, UAE, South Africa and India.
Alan began his career as an Airframe Systems Engineer at British Aerospace. In 1990, he joined Pilkington Glass as an Engineer working on Planar Systems, and in 1995, became Pilkington’s Regional Head for non-European business. In 1999, Alan moved to Singapore as the MD of Kalzip Asia where he transformed the business into the leading Aluminium Standing Seam company in Asia before moving to Hong Kong in 2010 to become the Regional Director for Tata Steel Asia. In 2015, Alan returned to Europe where he took up the role of Regional Market Director for Tata Steel Europe before joining Novum Structures as COO – Novum International in 2017.
Alan earned a honours degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s Degree in Business from Manchester University.
