Amir Mann

Founding Partner, Mann Shinar Architects & Planners

Amir Mann, Founding Partner at Mann Shinar Architects & Planners Ltd., operated as Head of Design for the recently opened Ilan and Assaf Ramon International Airport, presently nominated for numerous international design awards.

Born in 1950, Israel, Mann graduated the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology,(1976), and Harvard Graduate School of Design (1983), worked in Boston for 12years on large scale commercial, office, public buildings, historic renovations and health-care projects in the U.S., Canada, Australia and Singapore.

The office of Mann Shinar Architects, established in 1991, currently with a staff of 50, is leading award-winning work and has been recognized in Israel for its uniqueness on numerous architectural and urban design projects, ranging from city planning, new urban quarters, residential neighborhoods as well as new office, commercial, hi-tech and public buildings.

Other works include the National Library in Jerusalem, in cooperation with the Herzog & de Meuron Architects; the Depot for the LRT Red Line in Tel Aviv; USA Consulate in Jerusalem; Azrieli Rishonim Center, School of Fashion at Shenkar, HPHeadquarters; Be’er Sheva Master plan; Haifa Waterfront Masterplan; and more.

Amir has taught at the Technion and is currently teaching at the Tel-Aviv University School of Architecture.
