An architect renowned for her leadership and in-depth knowledge of the construction market, Anik Shooner was one of the first women to co-found a major architectural firm in Montreal, in 1994, which she still manages today. Convinced that the architectural quality of our environment influences our lives, Anik is uncompromisingly committed to the composition of exceptional architecture, executed at the cutting edge of technology, in terms of construction systems, tools and methodology. Among the many projects she has led are several of Montreal’s landmark buildings: the Maison du développement durable, Grandir en santé at CHU Sainte-Justine, Maison Manuvie, the Science Complex at the Université de Montréal’s MIL Campus, the latest phase of the CHUM and the YUL. She is currently in charge of the development of 1 Square Phillips, Hôpital Pierre-Le Gardeur and the new National Bank head office.
