Astrid Wuttke, partner at the architectural office schneider+schumacher, studied architecture at the Technical University of Darmstadt and ETSA Barcelona. In 2017 she was appointed to the Hessian State Monument Council as a representative of the Chamber of Architects. 2021, she started working with Prof. Philipp Oswalt at the University of Kassel, Department of Architectural Theory and Design. Since 2012, as project architect she has been leading the conversion and renovation of the exhibition building at Mathildenhöhe Darmstadt (UNESCO World Heritage Site). Other important projects include the renovation of the Städelschule in Frankfurt (2010-2011), the new House of Sponsorship for Hilfe mit Plan foundation in Hamburg (2015-2019) and the renovation of the West Building at the Federal Court of Justice in Karlsruhe (2015-2023).
