Boaz Kedar (PhD) is the Director of Sustainable Planning and Energy at the Tel Aviv – Yafo Municipality. In his position, Dr. Kedar advances sustainable and equitable urban planning policy, in tune with city dynamics, climate and society. His unit is responsible for local policymaking and design critique on municipal-wide green building, energy efficiency, energy strategy and climate readiness. Dr. Kedar is a graduate of Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, Jerusalem and The Royal College of Art, London, UK. He holds a PhD in Design, Architecture and Urban Planning from the University of Maryland, USA.
