
Sustainability Director, Lombardini22
Chartered Engineer Carmen Spagnoli is Sustainability Director at Lombardini22, a leading Italian architectural and engineering company. She manages multidisciplinary teams of engineers and architects providing ESG and environmental design consultancy covering the main internationally recognised sustainability certifications and CAM application in the public sector. Prior to joining Lombardini 22 she gained significant experience in Italy and internationally on projects such as the Doha metro in Qatar and the new headquarters of NATO in Belgium. In addition to these activities, she has served for three years as advisor of the Lombardy Chapter for GBC Italy and since January 2022, she has been elected in the Technical Advisory Group of USGBC for the water efficiency section. Carmen attained a honors degree in Building Engineering- Architecture U.E. at the University of Rome La Sapienza in 2013, and in 2018, was awarded a Master degree in Energy Management of Buildings and Infrastructures at the Politecnico di Milano.
