Christine is a seasoned and award-winning architect in the Middle East, with over two decades of experience shaping the architectural landscape. A proud Filipina architect, she pursued her passion for design and furthered her education with a Master’s degree in Business for Architecture and Design from IE University in Madrid, Spain.

As an Associate Director at Godwin Austen Johnson (GAJ), Christine plays a strategic role in driving design innovation across the practice. She has led and delivered creative, future-focused design solutions across a diverse portfolio including masterplans, hospitality, retail, residential, educational, and heritage developments in the Middle East and Asia. Many of the buildings she has designed have become recognised landmarks within the UAE, reflecting her commitment to timeless and sustainable architecture. With an unwavering drive for innovation and a focus on strategic impact, she continuously pushes boundaries to create meaningful and transformative spaces, earning the respect of both peers and clients.

A dedicated professional in the industry, Christine actively contributes to its advancement. As a member of the advisory board for the newly launched Cityscape WIRE (Women in Real Estate) in the MENA Region, the Heriot-Watt Architecture Industry Advisory Board, leading the mentorship and internship programme at Godwin Austen Johnson, she remains steadfast in empowering women and young architects – driving progress within the field.
