Helen has over 25 years’ experience in the glass industry and in architectural glass coatings, insulating glass fabrication, fenestration thermal zone technology, and dynamic glazing. She has a M.A. in Natural Sciences (Chemistry) and Ph.D. in Surface Science from the University of Cambridge, England.
Helen is an advocate for high performance fenestration and was named one of USGlass Magazine’s Top 100 Influencers as one of the individuals “who are leading their peers in new directions” and “changing the whole equation of how we look at the industry.” She was recognized by US Glass Magazine as one of the top women leaders in the glass industry in 2017 and was the recipient of their individual Green Award in 2019.
Currently, she is a general manager at Technoform North America, the leader in thermal break for fenestration systems and durable insulating glass edge bond solutions. She is an active member of several industry organizations, serving as president of the Façade Tectonics Institute and board member of the Fenestration and Glazing Industry Alliance (FGIA) and participates in energy and façade related codes and standards development.
