He is considered a pioneer in the field of urban development to which his credentials and contributions are clearly reflected in the projects completed and the list of awards received from several governmental and scientific authorities inside and outside Egypt.
Dr. Ayman Ashour founded the consulting firm Archplan International in 1985. More than 30 years of experience in the field of integrated engineering consultancy services.
After its wide local experience in Egypt, Archplan started to expand its clients’ range to cover projects in the near Middle East region and gained practice that encouraged the establishment of international headquarters for the firm in a Muscat in Sultanate of Oman and Sharjah in U.A.E.
Being a member of The Egyptian Supreme Council for Planning and Urban Development, he participated in many strategies and policies in this field.
Most prominent of these urban projects are the comprehensive development plans for Luxor and Rosetta, as well as the strategic plans for some new cities such as 6th of October City and Sheikh Zayed to become one city and the latest project The Cairo Capital.
