B.Arch. (hons.), Toronto 1978, M. Arch. Penn, 2008, Doctor of Design student UCalgary 2026. Gerry Lang is a Senior Associate in the Toronto firm of architectsAlliance (aA), a firm of 60.

He is the leader of that firm’s Facades Group, responsible for advancement and execuQon of the complex signature envelopes of the firm. With over 45 years’ experience, he has also developed facades for Barton Myers, Arthur Erickson, Jones & Kirkland, KPMB, Baird Sampson and Diamond SchmiZ in Toronto, as well as HOK NYC and as an Arup NYC consultant to the Renzo Piano Harvard Art Museum in Cambridge, MA.

He has taught studios, technical courses and professional pracQce at the University of Toronto, the University of Waterloo, and NJIT in Newark, NJ as well as lecturing at Columbia and the PraZ InsQtute. Gerry Lang has also lectured at facades conferences in Toronto, Los Angeles and Boston and the AIA NaQonal ConvenQon.
