Founder & Principal Architect, Zaro Architects
Hazem Alzaro is the Founder and Principal Architect of Zaro Architects, a multidisciplinary design studio working across architecture, interiors, master planning, and place-led urban experiences. His work explores the façade not merely as a building envelope, but as a living threshold between identity, performance, climate, and human experience.
With projects across Egypt, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Europe, and beyond, Hazem’s practice is known for blending contextual sensitivity with bold contemporary design. Through hospitality, mixed-use, cultural, residential, and urban regeneration projects, he continues to challenge the role of architecture as a tool for storytelling, value creation, and meaningful placemaking.
At Zak World of Façades Cairo, Hazem brings a design-led perspective on how façades can move beyond aesthetics and engineering to become the architectural voice of a project – shaping perception, memory, and the relationship between buildings and the cities they inhabit, while inspiring more responsive, emotionally resonant, and future-facing urban environments.
