Manchul Jung’s twenty two years of professional experience with two main architectural firms in Korea has helped him develop his leadership, design skills, conceptualization, team work, and direct interaction with clients and associates. He has encountered various types of scaled projects with different subjects, requirements and programs. Through his work, he brings a concept to life with a freehand sketch and computation for the design process and construction. Privately he has a great interest in architectural integration across time and space. It started with the experience of various styled projects ranging from the classical revival to parametric designs. Korea has developed from a traditional society with poverty to a modernized society, which influenced his holistic approach without any reluctance in design. He is interested and focused on the potential of the building site in terms of context, function and form. He believes that these things maximize the possibility of visual communication between the buildings and people. He is experimenting with a holistic solution embracing a rational planning and sensual design through the use of progressive design tools.
