Associate Partner, MUA - Architecture & Placemaking
Maria Pelangia is an Architect based in Tbilisi. She is an Associate Partner and Design Director at MUA – Architecture & Placemaking. Graduated from Tbilisi State Academy of Arts, M.Arch, and Politecnico di Milano MSc Architecture and Society. Maria began her architectural practice in 2007, working on architectural and urban design, concept development projects, the revitalization of touristic and recreational areas, building rehabilitation, and the restoration of cultural heritage sites, including the historic village of Dartlo in Tusheti.
She has participated in various interdisciplinary platforms through research and educational activities, since 2023 is an Invited Lecturer at the School of Architecture and Design of Caucasus University – a RIBA-validated program.
