Markus Pfisterer, Dipl.-Ing. Architect, Associate Partner at von Gerkan, Marg and Partners Architects.

He has been with gmp since 2000 and is one of the associate partners responsible for prominent national and international projects. He has over 20 years’ experience and specializes in managing and delivering innovative solutions to varied global clients. He holds a Diploma in Architecture from the Technical University, Stuttgart and at the IIT in Chicago.

Key projects include the Commerzbank Arena, (FIFA WC 2006), Frankfurt; Porsche Customer Operations Centre, Leipzig; Dubai Sports City – Cricket Stadium, U.A.E.; Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, New Delhi, India (Commonwealth Games 2010); National Stadium Warsaw, Poland (UEFA 2012); Sport- and the Concert Complex “Crystal Hall”, Baku, Azerbaijan.

Since 2012 He has been focussing on the Gulf States (GCC) and has recently been responsible for stadia developments in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the New International Trade Fair “Shahr-e Aftab” in Tehran, Iran – An international Trade Fair with more than 100,000 sq. Metres of exhibition space.
