
Principal, Weiss/Manfredi
Matthew Ferraro is a Principal at WEISS/MANFREDI Architecture/Landscape/Urbanism, a multidisciplinary design practice based in New York City. He is a registered architect, a member of the American Institute of Architects, and a LEED Accredited Professional with significant experience orchestrating design efforts for complex projects with high aspirations for sustainable design, and innovative building envelopes and technologies.
Matthew has contributed to several notable projects over his fourteen year tenure with the firm, including the recently completed University of Toronto Schwartz Reiman Innovation Campus in Ontario, the U.S. Embassy in New Delhi, India and currently on Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts’ Theater Building at Damrosch Park. Before joining WEISS/MANFREDI, he worked as a Project Architect at Evan Heintges Architects, now Heintges Consulting Architects & Engineers, in New York City and as an Associate and Designer at the office of The Carman Group in New York City.
In addition to his role at WEISS/MANFREDI, Matthew is also the cofounder and co-chair of the AIA NY LGBTQIA+ Alliance, which advocates for the LGBTQIA+ community within the architecture profession in the city and state of New York. He also lectures internationally and volunteers by serving on architectural boards within his local community.
