Maximilian Beckenbauer

Associate, Herzog & de Meuron

Maximilian Beckenbauer graduated from The Bartlett School of Architecture in 2002 and received his diploma from the Architectural Association, London in 2006. Prior to joining Herzog & de Meuron in 2010, Max worked for several companies, including 6A in London, and taught at Cambridge University with Tom Emerson.

Since joining Herzog & de Meuron, Max has worked on a wide range of projects. He had a leadership position for several competitions such as the M+ Museum in Hong Kong, and oversaw the development of the facade for Oxford’s Blavatnik School of Government. Since 2013, Max has been the Project Manager for the National Library of Israel in Jerusalem.
