Experienced RIBA Chartered Architect & Healthy Materials Expert, framing Health-Centred Design as the next evolution of sustainability—connecting material health and ethical AI to create environments that actively support the health of both people and planet.  

Leading MAYA MATERIAL studio, she advocates for healthier and more transparent approaches to design, exploring how intelligent systems can augment human judgement, improve environmental performance, and create measurable impact on human health within the built environment.

Her work positions AI not simply as a tool for acceleration, but as a means to support more responsible, resilient, and human-centred architecture. As Chair of the RIBA Gulf Chapter, Maya leads a regional network of architects across seven countries, supporting collaboration, professional dialogue, and future-focused thinking across a rapidly evolving architectural landscape.
