Façade Manager, ASGC
Michael Orford joined ASGC in 2015 as the lead Façade Manager and with over 30 years of diverse façade experience in a wide range of construction sections including hospitality, residential, commercial, industrial, and healthcare. He holds a BSc in Building Science from University of Cape Town. Michael specializes in façade sub-contractor overall performance with the emphasis on early design and procurement while ensuring government and safety codes are aligned.
Michael has worked with a wide range of façade systems building highly complex projects in three continents while working with cross cultural teams where rapid situation analysis and communication skills are key to ensuring the success of any project. Michael is a confident, accomplished, highly adaptable leader whose involvement on many large and complex projects in the Dubai region have earned regional awards such as City Walk and HH Mohammed Bin Rashid Library.
