Architectural Design Manager - Italy, Guardian Glass
Mohamed Gaber is the current Architectural Design Manager in Italy for Guardian Glass, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of float and coated glass products. He is responsible for interacting with architects, cladders, and consultants, assisting them in selecting the right type of glass for each project in terms of aesthetics and performance.
Mohamed joined Guardian Glass in 2022, starting as a Technical Office Engineer responsible for both the Italian and Southeastern European markets, as part of Guardian’s TAC team located in Cairo, Egypt, within the Guardian Industries Hub.
Before joining Guardian Glass, Mohamed worked in Egypt as a Mechanical Engineer for the family business, where he applied his knowledge of mechanical engineering and learned how to interact with customers.
Mohamed is an Egyptian citizen and speaks English and Italian fluently, has a good conversational level in French, in addition to his native Arabic. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering.
