Nandan has 20 years of sustainability thought leadership in the built environment, with expertise in energy and experience in all aspects of sustainability in the built-environment context. He recently leads key sustainability aspects of a major Net-Zero Airport Masterplan development in the GCC. This includes Carbon, Climate-Change Resilience, Energy & Renewables, and Environmentally Sustainable Design. In the past he was the sustainability lead on reputed projects such as the Louvre Abu Dhabi, Museum of the Future, Expo2020 Sustainability Pavilion, and Msheireb Downtown Doha.
He currently leads city-level energy and sustainability consulting projects, Net Zero Carbon projects and Net Zero corporate initiatives. Additionally, he drives the adoption of corporate sustainability initiatives such as Sustainable Finance, and corporate ESG strategies. He also serves as an Adjunct Teaching Faculty for a master’s degree programme in Sustainability at a reputable architectural university in Dubai.
