Founding Partner, Raafat Miller Consulting
Raymond Miller is a founding partner of RMC – Raafat Miller Consulting and is one of the few licensed architects who is also a licensed mechanical engineer. Over the last three decades his specialized expertise has served him well in developing technically complicated and architecturally significant projects and has been responsible for overall project direction for a large variety of building types.
Mr. Miller came to live in the Middle East in 1992 when he joined one of the largest and oldest architectural and engineering firms in the world as an associate and appointed the Director of Architecture for the firm’s Middle East North Africa office. In 2004, as a co-founder, Mr. Miller preceded with the establishment of RMC a full service architectural and engineering consulting firm currently with over 400 professional staff.
In his career, Mr. Miller has been involved in the design of resorts and hotels, sports facilities, retail shopping malls, high-rise and low-rise residential buildings and complexes, primary, secondary and university educational facilities, entertainment destinations, and large urban master plans.
Mr. Miller currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Fulbright Commission. He also serves on the American University of Cairo Architecture Advisory Board.
