Prof. Shams Naga is an academic, an entrepreneur and an avid investor in real estate.
Prof. Naga earned three Masters degrees in the fields of architecture, design and planning from Alexandria University, Rutgers University and University of Pennsylvania. He then went on to earn a PhD in Architecture Theory. Post his doctorate, Prof. Naga took up professorships in several institutions.
In the year 2000, Prof Naga founded NAGA Architects in Dubai, a firm that provides a complete suite of design, master planning and project management services. Today, the firm has offices in UAE, KSA, Egypt, USA and Canada and has served clients in more than 15 countries.
In 2017, Prof. Naga moved into real estate development by founding the DHB Group. DHB’s portfolio includes an affordable housing project of 2,900 villas in KSA, luxury villas on the Palm Jumeirah and a townhouses development in another prominent neighborhood of Dubai.
