
Director of Design for Building Envelope, Turner Engineering Group
Tali Mejicovsky, PE, CPEng, LEED AP, is the Director of Design for Building Envelope with Turner Engineering Group based in Turner’s New York office. She leads a team of Building Enclosure design specialists who provide technical guidance by carrying out façade analyses and reviews to mitigate design risk, identifying, and solving construction challenges and creating optimization opportunities across Turner’s project portfolio.
Prior to Turner, Tali spent three decades on the design side of façade engineering working across Australasia and North America with Arup. A structural engineer by background, Tali focuses on material selection, system design, structural analysis, specifying performance requirements, waterproofing and detailing over a broad range of building typologies, scales and complexity. Her experience on complex multidisciplinary projects ranges from early concept design to monitoring fabrication, installation, and testing on site, always with a focus on achieving a fully integrated design.
Tali is passionate about sharing knowledge and has presented, taught, and published frequently on the discipline of façade engineering. She currently guest lectures at Syracuse University and has been invited to critique at Pratt, Penn, Columbia, Cornell, Parsons, and Georgia Tech.
