Associate, KPMB Architects

Tyler Hall joined KPMB in 2015 and approaches architecture with a focus on how thoughtful design enhances experience and addresses social and environmental challenges. His work spans cultural, academic, civic, corporate, and hospitality projects, including Lloyd Hall at Banff Centre for Arts & Creativity, Boston University’s Center for Computing & Data Sciences, corporate workplace interiors, and most recently, the transformation of Arts Commons in Calgary.

Tyler has played an instrumental role in design development, overseeing studies and producing digital models and construction drawings that advance collaboration with project partners. His attention to detail and rigor in process support successful navigation of municipal approvals and engagement with urban design committees and stakeholders.

Guided by a commitment to craft and purpose, Tyler believes that massing, materiality, composition, and technical detailing must meaningfully shape the experiential qualities of place and contribute positively to community and the built environment.
