Design Leader VIC & SA, Besix Watpac
With over 20 years’ experience in the construction industry, Vincent has worked with Tier 1 Contractors including Abigroup, CPB, Probuild and now BESIX Watpac. Commencing his career in Project Management, he moved into Design Management and is currently Design Leader – Victoria and South Australia for BESIX Watpac. Vincent has worked on a wide variety of projects from large scale infrastructure to complex research facilities, with notable projects including Regional Rail Package E (stations), Post Entry Quarantine Facility, Caulfield Village Stage 1, Victoria Police HQ, CSL Global HQ, CSL Banksia Vaccine Manufacturing Facility and GWF Flour processing facility in Ballarat.
Vincent oversees the design management group across Victoria and South Australia and ensures the highest level of rigor is applied to the way the business manages the design process including the expectations of clients and stakeholders. Vincent promotes a collaborative approach to working with consultants and problem solving. As part of his role, he is in constant communication with the other state design leaders within BESIX Watpac as well as the BESIX Group Design and Engineering group in Europe and the Middle East. Leveraging off the technical knowledge available from team members involved on projects such as the Burj Kalifa in Dubai, Port of NEOM in Saudi Arabia, Dubai Waste-to-Energy Facility, Guggenheim Abu Dhabi, Ferrari World Abu Dhabi and the Grand Egyptian Museum, Vincent is able to help drive standards and ensure the Australian business is continually improving and developing.
