Yavnish Adlakha

Yavnish Adlakha is an astute professional with over 12 years’ experience in field of Passive Fire Protection ranging from Fire protection boards, Fire protection Coatings, Glass and Firestops. Yavnish is currently working with Hilti as product manager and is responsible for Development of Hilti Firestops in Sub Region Gulf and Near East and East Africa. Yavnish has deep knowledge and firsthand experience of fire protection markets of Japan, Korea, China, Australia, Singapore, India, Malaysia, Hong Kong, UAE, Saudi, Qatar, Oman, Kuwiat and other Middle Eastern countries. He also worked closely with Bureau of Indian Standards to influence National Building Code of India.

After completing his Engineering Degree from Delhi College of Engineering in 2003, Yavnish started his fire protection career with Promat. After heading the technical department in India for Promat International for few years Yavnish worked as a Fire specialist for 3M and was responsible for Technical and Business development of 3M firestps in Asia. Yavnish also completed his Master’s in Business Administration during this time. Yavnish moved to Middle East in 2010 and setup the Firestop Division for fischer in Middle East and moved to Hilti as Product Manager in 2014.

Yavnish is also an enthusiastic trainer and dexterously trained more than 200 Architects / Specifiers / Consultants on Passive Fire Protection by conducting full day training programs in all Major Asian countries. Yavnish has also composed a book on Passive Fire Protection for Architects, Designers, Fire Consultants in India.

Yavnish also has in-depth knowledge of testing standards and significantly executed more than 20 tests for Fire Stop Systems in Australia, Malaysia, Minnesota and Singapore and is currently working with Hilti to develop new innovative solutions and its marketing strategies in Middle East.
