Yuki Ikeguchi joined Kengo Kuma and Associates in 2002. She became a Partner and The Executive Vice President of KKAA Paris in 2012. She has been playing the essential role in leading multiple major projects abroad, with particular focus in public and cultural projects in Europe. The projects she was in charge include The Opposite House in Beijing, The Exchange Market and Library in Sydney, Truffer Headquarter Office Vals Switzerland, Odunpazari Modern Art Museum in Turkey, and HC Andersen Museum in Odense Denmark. On-going projects she is in charge include Water Culture House in Copenhagen and Welcome Terrazze Verdi mixed use office complex in Milan.
She is actively engaged in international conferences, lectures at educational and cultural institutions.
The fundamental in a design approach is biophilic design that appeals to our senses, to generate the form of architecture in response to the surroundings, culture, history, and to the life between buildings through in-depth analysis and observations in micro/ macro scales simultaneously.
