
Global Product Segment Marketing Manager, Kuraray
Allan is a chartered Supply Chain Manager based in Oxford, with a rich academic foundation, holding a BA in Management and an MSc in Façade Engineering. Over the past 26 years, he has gained extensive experience managing the supply and specification of specialist materials in the construction industry, working across both Europe and the Middle East.
Currently, Allan is responsible for the product development and delivery of Kuraray’s Trosifol® PVB and SentryGlas® advanced interlayer business. This role places him at the forefront of architectural and security applications, where he drives innovations that enhance the performance and safety of glass products. With a focus on leveraging new technologies, Allan plays a key role in fulfilling Kuraray’s commitment to addressing the evolving demands of the global glass industry. His leadership in product development underscores a dedication to innovation, ensuring that Kuraray remains a pioneer in the industry.
In addition to his technical expertise, Allan brings a deep understanding of the specific needs of the construction sector, particularly in flood defence, security, and acoustics using laminated glass. These areas of knowledge further reinforce his ability to manage complex projects and deliver tailored solutions that meet stringent industry standards and safety requirements.
