Matthew Engele

Matthew is Woods Bagot’s Middle East Regional Design Leader and Principal in the Dubai studio. He is responsible for leading the design of the architecture department. A specialist in sustainable design, Matthew has a wide range of experience in projects ranging from award winning cultural developments, high rise towers, urban design and renewal, eduction, retail, hotels and large scale mixed use developments.

Matthew is a winner of the prestigious Middle East & North Africa Architect of the Year award and is also a regular invited critic and guest lecturer at various universities in the UAE, USA and UK.
