Werner Jager, Dr.-Ing., has over 20 years of international experience in the creation and management of multi-location teams as well as profound competence in the engineering and design of building envelopes. Since 2017, he is the Director of Technical Marketing at Hydro Building Systems. Prior to that, he founded ai3, an engineering firm, which consults global clients in the physics of the building envelope, management of research and development, engineering support and customized seminars and training. The group applies product marketing and project management methodologies which analyse and support the implementation of the network of marketing, research, development, quality management, procurement and logistics in a holistic manner. His previous stint at Hydro Building Systems had him lead the research and development departments of world leading aluminum system for windows, doors and façade products.
His academic involvements include him being an external R&D consultant of FRAUNHOFER Institute for Building Physics in Stuttgart / Kassel / Holzkirchen and a professor of Building Physics at the University of Applied Sciences in Augsburg. He holds a degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Munich.
